About Us

The relative steadiness of human history is punctuated by leaps that go on to define new eras. Whether the eras be agricultural, scientific, industrial or information, they were sparked by revolutionary ideas and technologies rooted in exploration and ingenuity.

We are now living in the post-AI, multi-polar era marked by huge leaps in technological innovation coupled with a deep uncertainty on our collective future. Our mission is to ensure the next 100 years of human flourishing by building ventures that support this and helping institutions to navigate this.

'Annicha' means impermanence in the Buddhist canon. It refers to the changing nature of reality and is intimately related to the concept of Annata — the non-persistence of separate elements.

Reality then is emergent, dynamic and uncertain.

This can bring about anxiety. But, for us this is the opening. It means that we are not fixed. That we can question everything (bar the fundamental laws of physics). It opens us up to question, rethink and ultimately to invent new realities.

Our values guide us on 'how' we operate and make decisions. These are not exhaustive or binary but do guide us.

We prefer:
taking ownership of problems and respective ventures vs providing services
taking the long view
unlocking change rather than trying to 'fix'
seeing the wood and not just the tree
